I don't know what angers me more... the fact that this issue doesn't exist within the Coldfusion Support area, or that they don't know what's wrong.

The only STOPGAP fix Adobe has provided has been to set a CFIDE virtual directory FOR EVERY SITE in IIS 6, pointing to your CFIDE directory (previously I had the CFIDE only in the "default web site" of IIS6). As you can imagine, this is not a long term acceptable solution. I also received an email from another CF'er with the same problem. This is definitely a bug in CFMX 7.0.2 updater.
