I am not saying I like the SQL server as the driving force with CF as just presentation tire - I am just looking over this rather strange solution for myself (as well as many other members of this mailing list) and I am trying to figure out what are good and what are bad points about using it.
Right now I am not a big fan of SQL based data/ business logic + some formatting as I think CF is better at these things. But then again, I see that my feelings might be strongly related to the fact that I never saw anything like the solution I described + I used CF for many years now for stuff that I see SQL Server being used for.
