I signed up for their $69 a year plan. It's CFMX 7 Enterprise and SQL Server 2k5 (not sure about mySQL...but i'm pretty sure it's there).
Like you, I didn't expect perfection for that price...just wanted a cheap place to host a personal site. However, early on they exceeded my expectations by responding to tickets in a ridiculously timely manner (within a matter of 1-2 hours issues were resolved). There have been some issues with e-mail recently, but they are in the process of adding a new e-mail server so hopefully that will resolve those issues. Most tags/functions are allowed, with only a few exceptions (createObject() -is- allowed, which is the big one that I was concerned about). I will say that lately, they've been a bit slower to respond to support tickets. Not sure if they've grown too much too soon or not...but i'm hoping it's somethign they'll be able to resolve. Either way, for what you need (just a 'playground' of sorts), I don't think you can go wrong with the features that they offer for the price.
