Dave, I'm with you. I have several projects going on that fit into two
categories: backend intensive and front end intensive. The backend
stuff is a generally OO/CFCs stored in an SVN repository. These
projects have minimal front end stuff. Eclipse rocks for this.

The front-end intensive projects are mostly where I have to connect to
an FTP server where an existing site is. I usually download the few
files that I need to modify, make my edits, testing locally or not
depending on extent of changes, and then upload my changes back via
FTP. This where Dreamweaver rocks. If I have one file I need to PUT, I
do the Ctrl-Shift-U shortcut while that file is open. It automatically
goes to the right directory. That Weaves my Dreams.

Unless I completely stop the front-end type of projects, I don't see
myself abandoning DW completely anytime soon. DW just makes the inline
CSS/HTML type of stuff much easier. Oh, and a couple of these
front-end sites are in ASP. DW handles that no problem.
