Most websites out their use something called RDF format
for news syndication. It is a small XML file that will carry
the headlines for a news site. Off the top of my head I can
think of easily 100 of the bigger sites that have a RDF file.
There is also a ColdFusion custom tag for parrsing a RDF file
(Not that it would be all that difficult to do yourself ;)
Its just a matter of finding where the sites stash their RDF's.

this format became popular after my.netscape.com came around.
It is something they started there but its a really easy way
to syndicate with a whole load of websites. (Think Wired.com
slashdot.org etc. )and just to many to list. There is no real
standard aside from that that I have seen for grabbing headlines
from other sites. Some sites may proivde something else (proprietary)
however the RDF file is the closest to a standard I have seen.

Juandres,

It's early and I haven't had my <cf_coffee> yet. Are you looking to get news
and syndicate it on your site? It looks like that's what you're trying to
do. If you are, moreover.com is a great place to get news. It has a section
for ColdFusion and WDDX. Very simple to set up. If I'm misunderstanding what
you're looking for, I apologize.

it seems a pretty good.

is there any work in CF to make something like that ? CF Nuke ?
