This is probably NOT it, but I did have a semi-related error (if I remember right), that had to do with the case of the CFIDE directory. Some links pointed to CFIDE and others pointed to cfide. Something like that. I highly doubt that your problem was my problem, because Windows isn't case sensitive.
But maybe it's the CFIDE directory.... check permissions etc..?
