Thanks, Rick. My experience thus far has been a different error message each time I change the database table. I've never seen anything like it.
If I change the cfc query which uses * to anything else and refresh, I get good data. Then I can change the same query back to what it was with the star, and I will get the expected results. Somehow that query is cached in byte-code or whatever CF uses to "improve performance", although here it's not helping! Additional note: I accidently posted the same topic twice.
