If I understand Flex correctly, it's Flash pulling in any XML. So it's irrelevant if the browser supports XML, as long as the browser supports Flash.

I know that quite a few of my target audience will be working on mac's. Therefore, does this mean that i cannot use ajax in my application? if i really need the functionality that the ajax provides is there another way i can get around this? is it right that ajax wont be supported in any other browsers other than FF and IE? and does this mean that i can get around this by using flex 2 instead? thanks for your help ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Introducing the Fusion Authority Quarterly Update. 80 pages of hard-hitting, up-to-date ColdFusion information by your peers, delivered to your door four times a year. http://www.fusionauthority.com/quarterly Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/message.cfm/messageid:254738 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4
