The easiest thing for me and the client would be to have everything on 
the USA database - all form s data gets written there, all data comes 
from there. That's why I asked the Guernsey host for the remote DSN to 
the US database to start with.

I note that DSN-less connections only worked in Coldfusion 5 - jazz, 
that would have been so easy!

Pointers in the correct direction to get me started? I've written a few 
simple query CFC's - nothing complicated at this point...
