I hope I'm not posting on the wrong list but I wanted to show what can be done with CF & Ajax. The link below will take you to a cool site called Joe's Log Book. It helps you log important day-to-day tasks in an online log book.
http://joeslogbook.com/ While its not a huge app, this site is based on another site by the same author called Joe's Goals (http://www.joesgoals.com/). That site received a BOATLOAD of press and held up to the load the whole entire time. It appeared in Digg, Slashdot, & numerous other online publications. So its a nice example how a CF app can scale to handle decent traffic and can easily & effectively incorporate Ajax/DOM/DHTML technology to build a usable site. The lib that they used for the Ajax/DOM/DHTML work is the Yahoo User Interface lib and icons were from FamFamFam.com. I had known about Joe's Goals for some time but only realized that these sites were developed using ColdFusion because when I did a "View Source" to look at what Ajax lib they were using, I saw a TON of whitespace (which is a pretty good indicator its a CF app. LOL!).
