I do not think you can. Unless you want to write the excel data as the
email body. Thus no attachment.

Subject: Creating and emailing excel file without writing a temp file

I would like to make a quick self-encapsulated cfc to query some data
and email off 3 columns in a simple excel file to a list of recipients.
Is there a way I can 'write' the excel file in memory and send as an
attachment without having to physically write a file using <cffile>?

Chris
