I'm thinking that the thing that I'm taking away from this conversation is that even though I'd call myself an "intermediate" javascript programmer, I really need to get a much firmer grip on the DOM/CSS aspect of AJAX/Javascript programming. I'll admit that most of the javascript work I've done has mainly been form validation and the associated programming that goes along with client-side validation, and that really won't help me very much. Is there a reasonable place to pick up some quick pointers on more of the DOM/CSS work associated with javascript? Some good sites that can help as a "lead in" to picking up what's going to apparently be new to me heading into AJAX?
