I have seen a few other posts regarding imagecfc here recently so I hope this is not to off topic, the problem I am having with imagecfc is whenever I resize an image it doesn't change the filesize, this only occurs when I am overwriting the existing image. eg. I uploaded a 1mb image, which maybe 1200px wide, my application will see that it is greater than 500px wide and resize the image down to a suitable size 500px, however the image remains at 1mb. This occurs on a testing environment and production server, both linux and windows and also with Blue Dragon.
