Yeah NZ is 12 hours ahead of GMT at the moment, but the prob is nothing to do with that, it is the fact that dates are being americanised. If the locale is set in as UK a date would be recorded as 2006-10-05 (5th October), if I switch the locale to NZ it changes it to 2006-05-10 (10th May).
