Seems like people use the IDE of there choice based on what they need to do.

I was a die hard CF Studio, it had great features that since its demise
never existed in HomeSite+, and DW was my next editor of choice but I hated
it, and after looking at cfeclipse I fell in love with it.

Why have I now chosen cfeclipse over anything else?

1) In the job that I do we find that we are not rewriting code the DW would
rewrite, and yes some very known bugs that I have reported since DW6 and it
has never been fixed. We have access to RDS, and we have access to DB Tools
that surpass having to go to a DM manager, we can use the tools regardless
of the DB.

2) We run a Ticketing system called Jira, and with that plug in we can see
all our tickets without leaving our editor, as well as Being able to
timesheet's against the tickets etc.

3) We also use subversion for our source repository, so we also have a
plugin that enables us to check in projects as well as sync these against
other developers etc.

4) UML diagrams can be created and used in the editor as well.

And the most important feature of all...

Fusion Debugger, allows us to debug and step into our code and see problems
faster than any other way.

So with all the tools at our finger tips within Eclipse, it has become more
valuable to us than any other editor on the market for our job.

But like I started out, it all depends on what you are looking for from your
IDE....
