I like TinyMCE too, but unfortunately, it doesn't fully support  
Safari.  It will display the editor, but some of the buttons won't  
work and I also found some wonky things with the way it sends post  
data in Safari.   I see they are doing some experimental support now  
so that's awesome.   ( http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/tinymce/docs/

I found the Asbru editor after fighting with TinyMCE and Safari for a  
client that is almost exclusively a Mac shop.  Even when you get  
Safari working, the next OSX update always seems to break your  
fixes.  :-(   Asbru releases patches for Safari updates within 24-48  
hours of the release so that helps.
