Check the CFFile tag... It sounds like a backwards compatibility issues. Old CFFile UPLOAD used to allow you to put the file name in the DESTINATION attribute. This is no longer allowed and will end up creating a directory with the file name (I think)...
I don't use KHTML but I have seen errors like that and this is usually the cause. ......................
