You haven't found anything about this configuration because it's quite uncommon, I suspect. You would need to install the web server configuration utility on each machine. I'm no expert when it comes to CF licensing, but I wouldn't be surprised if you need a license to do so. You would essentially be setting up CF in "distributed mode", although that typically entails one CF server (or cluster of CF servers) per web server. I don't know if you'd be able to do this with CF Standard either, because I don't know whether it'll be able to handle requests from multiple servers. If you had CF Enterprise, you could run five instances on your central server, then configure each of them separately along the lines of the "distributed mode" setup mentioned above - CF Enterprise is licensed per-processor, so you can have as many instances on your machine as it can support. However, I suspect that you would incur extra maintenance, instead of avoiding it.
