Yeah, I know what you mean but they can get away with it to a certain degree as their systems are not so tightly integrated into the Windows Shell. What is the status with FF etc "supporting" other systems?

Netscape builds their browser to be supported on just about any platform, as does firefox and others. MS is the only one I know of that builds their browser to be OS dependant.
