I don't know for sure, but I know that IE 6 removed the previous version. I was able to find an installer on the web that would let me keep IE 6 while testing IE 7 beta. http://techfeed.net/blog/index.cfm/2006/7/17/IE-7-beta-3-standalone
You might be able to find something similar for IE 7 final.
