Ah... for what? It runs in conjunction with your webserver, so technically
it uses port 80, but that's not a good method for determining whether or not
it's up and running. But it also uses port 443 for SSL and 21 for FTP...

Not sure what you mean by FF, but get ServersAlive and you can configure all
sorts of alerts there.
