Sounds like a dns issue to me...hosts file only works for the computer that
it is located on...not other computers.

Subject: Does Coldfusion obey Windows Hosts

For some reason that my hosting staff hasn't been able to answer, my server
cannot pull up the sites on it without the designations being in the windows
hosts file.

Cold fusion seems unable to cfhttp to my server and I can think of no other
reason than its not obeying the hosts file?

Is this true? And if so, is there a way to make it obey the file or is there
a seperate config file that serves this purpose?

Tony
