Yes, there is a group based out of the UK (I think) that has a denial of service type attack to stop spammers. I think it might still be in development, but the idea is this: 1. you send them spam message you received 2. they grab any URLS from the message 3. they kick off DOS attacks on the server using a distributed network of clients. I can see tons of problems with this idea, but I tip my hat to them for trying to nail these suckers.
