I have been using 5.5 since it was a beta, I have never come across any
sites that I use application variables where it doesn't work with IE5.5....
However when looking at your code, the first thing I see is this.
Application variables are held in the servers memory, so session management
might need to be switched on. Also another thing to check is that cookies
are switched on, I think the combination of these two things is causing the
problem.

If only this was the case - all I did was start the machine, then go to the
website
I only use one set of Application scope variables on this website (to stop
re-loading) and this crashes (apparently) on IE5.5 only - it works perfectly
on IE4-5 and NS4-4.7
I've currently ripped the Application scope off of it to get it working
(can't have clients not being able to update their websites)
