What you've done is what the script does if it detects all is well.
If you open up bin/coldfusion you'll see it's a shell script, and around line
71 it says:
IF cfmx-connectors.sh exists
PRINT message
RUN cfmx-connectors.sh AND IF EXITS OK
MOVE cfmx-connectors.sh TO cfmx-connectors-run.sh
