If you run CF under a user acocunt instead of SYSTEM, and give that user access to shared folders on the remote machines that contain the images, then CF should be able to access the images.

Let's call my webserver X with the images being on Y and Z and the database I need to use is on Z. X, Y and Z are all on the same network. I can set up a datasource across the network so I can pull data from Z but one piece of that data is the path to the image - which may be on Y or Z. But I can't access the images. I'm beginning to suspect I'll have to copy the images to the webserver to use them. Anyone knowledgeable about this? Larry V.
