I had a shared site on HMS for a few months, and from the beginning until I moved to a different host, I had daily error reports saying that CF couldn't connect to MySQL. HMS support tried to convince me the problem was that my code was sending too many requests to their shared MySQL server. I didn't like that answer, but chalked it up to using shared hosting.
