Problem with chr() and Linux?

Hi guys,

i have the following simple code:

<cfsavecontent variable="sTmpMailContent">
À Á á ý ò ë Ç
</cfsavecontent>

<cfscript>
        sTmpMailContent = Replace(sTmpMailContent,chr(192),'&Agrave;','all');
        sTmpMailContent = Replace(sTmpMailContent,chr(193),'&Aacute;','all');
</cfscript>

<cfoutput>#sTmpMailContent#</cfoutput>

It works fine on Windows but can´t find the characters on Linux.

What´s the problem?
