Patrick is correct in what I meant. Also, consider Flex development as the closest thing to code behind development as you can get to .Net. You have a graphic stage with visual controls that correspond to code components. So, if you use CF for your webservice layer or remote object, then CF can be related to the .Net development environment, but only in that arena.
Also, the idea of deploying a compiled SWF versus deploying a compiled DLL is also pretty close in relation.
