The aptana plugin was the one that let me let go of dw, the css support is awesome!
I havent tried the ftp in awhile on it but as mark said it is what dw is. I know a lot of people don't use ftp in the way some of us do. A lot of the "just coders" dont have as big of an issue because they are in or near the same files but when lets say I am doing something and I have a folder structure and one outputed page I may be working on the content part, a header, a footer, 1-4 css files, cfcs, a js file, ect and going back and forth between all the folders is tiresome, thats where dw's upload on save is nice. I have a vps server I use for development and I need to get them there as I dont usually run the dev sites from my machine because I want to mimic the real deal as best I can. If I knew java I'd be all over making a plugin, but come on its me we are talking about! Im not complaining, I already made the switch, it would just be nice. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Create robust enterprise, web RIAs.
