Good afternoon all. I have page on my web site that is called the "A-Z
Product Index". In it is a complete listing of all of the products I have
available for sale. The page is a moderately high entry point for my web
site.

Currently, a sample URL on the A-Z Product Index page might look like:
http://www.mysite.com/index.cfm/action/productdetail/productID/10202.htm

I was thinking of recreating the A-Z Product Index page with SEO friendly
URLs that would like like:
http://www.mysite.com/index.cfm/10202/Adidas-Odyssey-Field-Bag

Now, I have *no* plans to change all of the URLs throughout the entire site
to make them SEO friendly as this would be difficult to program and it would
ruin my existing rankings in the search engines. This modification will be
done only on the A-Z Product Index page.

So, here are my questions...
#1. If I do this, products will be available to be viewed by clicking either
style of URL. Would Google, Yahoo or MSN penalize my site for this because
it would be considered *duplicate* content?
#2. In your opinion, just how much benefit is there to using SEO URLs?

Thanks in advance for all your help. Ché
