Can't you create your own custom header value? I'm talking the kind like "X-[something]".
For example, our Barracuda spam filter adds several of its own message headers such as: "X-Barracuda-Virus-Scanned" M!ke -----Original Message----- From: Claude Schneegans [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Sunday, December 24, 2006 12:11 PM To: CF-Talk Subject: CFMX CFMAIL and message-ID Hi, I have an application which sends messages. I use CFMAILPARAM to set a message-ID header in the message, ie: Message-id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Under CF5 it works fine. Under CF7, the message-ID header seems to be set by the Java Mailer, whwtev I put in CFMAIPARAM, ie: Message-id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Is there some other way I missed in order to set MY OWN Message-id? Messge IDs are essential in order to create a tree structure in a forum for instance, I cannot let Java put its own stuff. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Create robust enterprise, web RIAs.
