Hey Doug, there is a java openid server and client that's probably one of the more developed openid applications over at http://www.openidenabled.com/. It'd be awesome if a Coldfusion wrapper for it was created, then we could just benefit as they update the java version later on. :)
But as for an all Coldfusion one, I was working on a modelglue actionpack for the consumer side of things that's over on my website ( http://www.adamfortuna.com/2006/12/25/first-attempt-at-an-openid-actionpack-for-modelglue/ ). No zip yet as it's a work in progress, but it can get a response from the openid server as a nice structure so far. It's coldspring driven, so hopefully it can be ported to other frameworks without too much trouble. I agree though, it'd be awesome to have a project or two up on riaforge for OpenID! Just don't know if all cf, or java+cf would be the best way to go on it. - Adam Fortuna http://www.adamfortuna.com > has anyone created an openid cfc that they would like to share?
