Well, at least not in the example you provided.  And I don't think your
example would change the behavior we are discussing.  It is just a different
way to assign that behavior to the elements.  It doesn't change how the
browser interprets that behavior.

But, even if this does do what is desired, sometimes one wants to understand
why something works the way it does, before a black box is attached that
makes it work differently.  At least the geek in me does.
