Christopher, I know you were not implying that. I said in my post that after writing the component that I realized their were design flaws. The problem lies in the init method. It should not be mandatory to initialize dbtypes and dsn if you are using getRandomColor(). Your comments were positive and any comments that are not meant as an attack are always good for everyone. I was just stating that other people have asked me about the point to the article, examples, and other ideas that I need to follow the post with.
