I'm pretty sure you can just tack it onto the end:

jdbc:sqlserver://server1:1433;DatabaseName=db1;sendStringParametersAsUnicode
=false

However, if you're using the DataDirect drivers, I'm pretty sure you can set
this within the CF Administrator.
