Cutter, Don't know about Windows for sure since I use IIS there, but on Linux/ Unix I use a trailing slash and it works fine:
Alias /resources/ "D:\resources\" Are you adding the alias within the Virtual Hosts block or inline in httpd.conf (or one of the conf files if running Apache2 )?
