It seems to be the case (though I haven't had a chance to play with this yet) that they've added an option to the DB to allow you to use snapshots as the implementation of READ COMMITTED. Presumably, to solve this exact problem in all of the places where existing code will be used with the new version of SQL Server. See information on READ_COMMITTED_SNAPSHOT here: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-US/library/ms175095.aspx Sixten ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Upgrade to Adobe ColdFusion MX7 Experience Flex 2 & MX7 integration & create powerful cross-platform RIAs http:http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;56760587;14748456;a?http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion/flex2/?sdid=LVNU Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/message.cfm/messageid:267138 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4
