OK, I in the Update query in the CFC, I just did this: <cfif LEN(Arguments.DateElected)> DateElected = '#Arguments.DateElected#' </cfif> and so on. Worked like a champ. I was just hoping there was another way, or better yet, a good explanation why this was happening.
