I am replacing soEditor with FCKEditor on a site and ran into an issue
that I'm hoping someone out there can help with.

In the soEditor was this line: html="#form.homeText#" which passed a
bunch of HTML to the editor as it's default value. I'm having trouble
doing the same with the FCKEditor because it's javascript-based. I
create the editor object like this: var oFCKeditor = new
FCKeditor('editHome', 550, 600, 'CompleteMusic', 'test' ) ; which works
fine with 'test' but when I try to pass form.homeText, it throws errors
about missing an ending ) and unterminated string literal.

I get the ) error when I use this call: var oFCKeditor = new
FCKeditor('editHome', 550, 600, 'CompleteMusic',
"<cfoutput>#form.homeText#</cfoutput>") ;
and I get the unterminated string literal error when I do this: var
oFCKeditor = new FCKeditor('editHome', 550, 600, 'CompleteMusic',
'<cfoutput>#form.homeText#</cfoutput>' ) ;

Is there a way around this? The only other thing I can think to do is
re-write part of fckeditor.js to NOT write the output and then split up
the output to write it manually in my .cfm file. I really don't want to
do that.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
