There must be other indexes on this table that include the text fields.
Check in SQL Enterprise Manager.

Subject: SOT: SQL insert issue with indexes
In my main app, we've got it set up so that clients can create their own
database fields of varying types, and build forms that users can fill
out and collect data.
Lately I get this error hitting on occasion:
[Macromedia][SQLServer JDBC Driver][SQLServer]900 is the maximum
allowable size of an index. The composite index specified is 1028 bytes.
The table in question has two indexes on it, both are on integer fields.
The error seems to hit when data coming into OTHER fields (varchar and
text data types) is kinda large, i.e. users are typing in small novellas
worth of data. The db column to hold this data can handle it fine,
size-wise.
I'm unsure on what to do to solve this issue. I'm ok with SQL Server but
I'm certainly not an expert.
Thanks for any help you guys might toss my way - --Scott
