****LEGAL DISCLAIMER**** I AM NOT A LAWYER AND ANYTHING I SAY IN THIS EMAIL IS JUST MY PERSONAL THOUGHTS.
In my experience, if you don't have a contract specifically stating that YOU the developer own all the rights to the code you wrote, then whomever paid you to do it owns it completely and entirely, forever. You may not even be able to re-use some of it if you wanted to. This is of course based on the typical scenario of working for a company as a full time employee. Most states recognize, that any work you do while employed by someone is owned by them, not you. Without a clearly written out contract, my best GUESS is that you don't have any rights to your work. -- Alan Rother Adobe Certified Advanced ColdFusion MX 7 Developer ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Upgrade to Adobe ColdFusion MX7 Experience Flex 2 & MX7 integration & create powerful cross-platform RIAs http:http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;56760587;14748456;a?http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion/flex2/?sdid=LVNU Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/message.cfm/messageid:268214 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.4
