That wouldn't be an image map then. At that point, you could use CSS to draw
rectangular areas and make them links.

If you just want to show the borders of the area, then make that your image.
Just the borders.

Hello,
This is OT but I'm sure someone on this list knows the answer.  I'd like to
show an image map without the image.  In other words just a border of the
mapped regions on a white background.  Is this possible? Or is there a way
to draw an image with the screen cordinates?
