As Dave noted, if server to server communication in an SOA style then Axis
is built into ColdFusion already, with on attribute change you can make a
normal CFC a web service, that simple. No messing around with SOAP
headers/envelopes. It is all done automagically.

hmmm...never used (or heard of) Axis.  i just did a quick google about
Axis...sounds like you are the winner...i'll go read up, does anyone know
any good HOWTO, Tutorials, sample code,  etc., on CF and Axis?

Quick check of the OpenAMF site shows setup for Axis as well...if this is
the answer...i'll send you a bottle of wine for your trouble!
