there's a cf-flex mailing list here on HoF.  i'd also recommend the
flex 2 training DVD
(http://www.totaltraining.com/prod/adobe/flex2_ria.asp).  i don't know
of any Flex books that i'd recommend... haven't seen any myself.  i
believe a gaggle are about to be released.

MXML, which should be fairly straightforward.  ActionScript 3 (which
is the one that scares me a lil').

FlexBuilder (built on Eclipse).  you don't -need- the IDE but boy it's nice.

If you want to use Flex in conjunction with CF, you need CF 7.0.2 (if
you've got 7, it's a free upgrade to 7.0.2).
