there's a cf-flex mailing list here on HoF. i'd also recommend the flex 2 training DVD (http://www.totaltraining.com/prod/adobe/flex2_ria.asp). i don't know of any Flex books that i'd recommend... haven't seen any myself. i believe a gaggle are about to be released. > 2. What skills beyond CF are required? MXML, which should be fairly straightforward. ActionScript 3 (which is the one that scares me a lil'). > 3. Is there a special IDE that is involved for programming in Flex? FlexBuilder (built on Eclipse). you don't -need- the IDE but boy it's nice. > 4. Any special server site apps that need to be installed? If you want to use Flex in conjunction with CF, you need CF 7.0.2 (if you've got 7, it's a free upgrade to 7.0.2). -- Charlie Griefer ================================================ "...All the world shall be your enemy, Prince with a Thousand Enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you.
