I'd like to help anyone out who may be trying to set up a
coldfusion mailform app on GoDaddy.com
I've been fumbling around all morning trying to get the
<cfmail> to work on my client's GoDaddy w/ Coldfusion shared
hosting website.
Finally, after much trial and error, as well as checking
previous messages at this forum as well as others, I decided
to just try something weird.
I commented out the server and port assignments in the
cfmail tag.
Guess what .... it works now!
So if you want to send out from a GoDaddy site using
<cfmail> it looks like you need to leave out the 'server="
"' and the 'port=" " ' assignments and all will go well if
you're like me.
Don't expect Tech support to be able to help you there
though.
I hope this helps someone because I saw that a lot of people
have struggled with this issue.

ps. I just joined this forum today and was happy to find it.
Will check back often!
