I actually did that originally, and it registered ok, but it gave it the 
font name and font family "New" which seemed odd, since presumably I would 
have to use that name when displaying it...I registered a second font to see 
what would happen and it also gave it the name "New", so now I had two 
different fonts with the same name.  Something is amiss there.

I didn't see any way to change the name of the font - all you can do is 
enter the path to the font.  Maybe I'm missing something.
