Oh man, Neil... if you like fast, intense action, 24 is for you. I didn't watch the first two seasons when it first came out. Just couldn't fathom how a show whose entire season was based around events that happen in 24 hours could be worth watching. But when I tore more rotator cuff and broke my arm playing softball, I had plenty of time to watch TV after surgery. I rented 24 and after the first disk of 6 episodes, I was hooked!
Give it a try!
