Do you want the update to be done at the time of the scan? We do something here where employees go out and scan products by barcodes into a handheld scanner. The scanner is then returned and docked to a pc, where the scanned data is synced with the PC as a CSV file. The operator then just uploads this file through a web interface and a CF application processes the data and BloodSource gets reimbursed for the products used by our clients.
