GOOD points. All letters and numbers in a matched string could just be
masked with x or something I suppose. As long as you know only letters and
numbers are being masked, the point of an example shouldn’t be lost in
translation. Usually, when an email address or something formatted like an
email address is posted in regards to email regex's, the format of the email
address is what is most important, not what it actually says. I say LET bots
harvest those for their databases ;-)
